The exhibition – Connecting Afro Futures. Fashion x Hair x Design, which ran at Berlin’s Museum of Decorative Arts from 24th August to 1st December this year – was the culmination of a a multi-stage project that began in November 2018 with a one-week workshop in Berlin. In March and April 2019, the first results were presented on site in the partner cities Dakar and Kampala. The opportunity to shoot a fashion editorial for exhibition’s Magalog – a fashion magazine and exhibition catalog combined – could not be missed. Here we take a little look behind the camera at the photo shoot in Dakar.
