– that is how Ugandan designer GloRia WavaMunno describes the creative process behind her fashion line. David McIntyre is a New York-based photographer, filmmaker and writer. An accomplished fashion photographer, his work has appeared in many of the world’s most illustrious fashion magazines, including Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. Through his involvement with the Paper Fig Foundation, which works to empower local artists and entrepreneurs in developing economies, he travelled to Kampala in Uganda to shoot photos for a group local designers.
